RockJam KB100 Adjustable Padded Keyboard Bench
The Piano Dad’s Review
The RockJam KB100 is a folding and comfortable keyboard bench.
The bench is strong. Plus, the seat is large and well padded, to allow for maximum comfort even when playing for extended periods of time.
It is also height adjustable with four positions to choose from. So, most people should be able to get comfortable when using it.
I am average sized and found that the second setting worked well for me.

Strong Enough to Support Most Adults
This folding keyboard bench is one of the strongest that I’ve personally used. Once you get used to folding and unfolding it you will be confident enough to use it without worrying that the seat will slip or get damaged.
The one thing that I did miss, having become accustomed to more traditional piano benches, is that there is nowhere to push sheet music under the seat.
But, it’s great for transporting to and from gigs. It’s also a great choice to keep as a spare for music lessons as well.
Although, for a permanent installation, there are better options.
Good for Longer Sessions
I found that the seat padding was very comfortable and I like the plain black and the understated look.
Some users put a pillow on top of the seat because they find that the seat by itself gets a bit warm during extended play, but that is not something I have noticed.
A Great Price
This is an incredibly well-made bench and seat for a very affordable price.
Given the amount that a serious musician spends on their craft, it makes sense to invest in a good seat. With RockJam, you can do that without breaking the bank.
It’s refreshing to see this kind of build quality at an affordable price.

Final Thoughts
The Rockjam KB100 is a good choice for pianists and keyboard players who want a keyboard bench that is portable but also easy to fold and adjust.
Of course, being a more portable stool, it does lack some features for home pianists.
